circa 1920, with tip-up 3 3/4in. barrel group, blued slide with integral rear-sight, blued frame, the backstrap stamped 'S.W. 8774', chequered hard rubber grips, heel magazine release and lanyard loop to base, the bottom of magazine marked '8774', the whole retaining much original finish
